A major thoroughfare on the city`s Asian side, Bagdat Caddesi came to life on the evening of Saturday, April 9th in an Istanbul Shopping Fest event staged by the Power FM DJ`s. Starting at 7p.m., dance and percussion shows and LED screen games continued throughout the night as surprise gifts were distributed. Revelers who came to Bagdat Caddesi were regaled with performances by the popular Power FM DJ`s Geveze & Bay J. Nor was the fun limited to this. Visitors to the avenue also shopped till they dropped at special discounts.

European basketball`s most prestigious cup, the turkish airlines euroleague finds its owner.The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four will take place in Barcelona May 6 to 8. Among the four teams competing are Spain, represented by Real Madrid instead of host Barcelona, who won the cup last year, Israel`s Maccabi Electro and Italy`s Montepaschi Siena, two of basketball`s strongest teams, and Greece`s Panathinaikos, who went home with the cup twice in the last five years.
